2) Add some new features and décor.
Upgrade your patio’s look this year with one or two new outdoor living amenities—like a fireplace or a BBQ—and some fresh new décor for spring. Plant colorful flowers and greenery in your yard to energize your space, and grab a few new pieces of interesting décor. A new set of throw pillows or chic end tables can do wonders to pull your style together and make your patio feel updated.

3) Get your patio lighting in order.
Landscape lighting is an important element in making your property, especially the patio where you and guests will be hanging out at night, safe and secure. It’s also crucial for setting the right mood for your outdoor lounge areas.
Install new, updated lighting that makes your patio look good and the space around it easy to navigate. Or, if you already have quality landscape lighting, service your existing system to ensure it’s working properly after a few months of disuse.
